A graduate of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, Ivan A. Castro is a former reporter for The Miami News and for The Miami Herald’s Spanish edition. His first book, 100 Hispanics you should know, was published in 2007 by Libraries Unlimited. His free lance articles have appeared in newspapers and other publications throughout Latin America. Castro attended the 2007 Tony Hillerman Writer’s Conference Focus on Mystery.
